These hammocks are hand woven from 100% industrial strength
nylon as used by the fishing industry, thereby durable enough to withstand
salt water and sun, with repeated wet/dry cycles. The hunter green hammock is
solution-dyed so it will not bleed or fade. It has 8 strands of yarn braided
around a center core providing strength. Even if a strand is nicked or cut, it
will not weaken the integrity of the braid. The nylon rope has been treated
for rot, mildew, and ultra violet protection, and has a tensile strength of
1000 lbs.
